The source code is intended to be standard C++ and Java code. It has been tested using Microsoft Visual Studio .NET compiler for the C++ source code and the Sun JDK 1.4 compiler for the Java code.
The software utilities provided require Windows 98, 2000, NT, or XP Professional. Although most of the software demos work with Windows 98, to use the Microsoft Visual C++ .NET project file you need Microsoft Visual C++ .NET which requires NT, 2000, or XP. Some programs might have additional requirements, so please refer to specific programs for their information.
