Description

Unstated requirements can cause considerable damage, particularly if they are not caught until later in development. This Requirement Deficiency is a common problem across all types of projects, particularly in certain areas of development. At first it might seem that this is only important to technical leads and other higher up personnel. But on closer inspection individual tasks and development effort must also fit within the larger requirement structure. Thus, individual programmers can be seen as working within a subset of the requirements, making at least part of any problems caused by missing requirements to affect their work as well.
