Changing Presentation File Format

You can save the presentation in one of a number of other text or presentation formats, and export any slide to HTML or a raster graphics format.

Saving the Presentation in Another Presentation Format

These formats are all variations on PowerPoint, Impress, Draw, and templates for Impress and Draw.

  1. Choose File > Save as.

  2. The file formats you can use are listed in the Save as window. Select a format and enter a name .

  3. Click Save.

Note

You can open a number of other presentations, including PowerPoint presentations, by simply choosing File > Open .


Converting a Slide to a Raster Graphic

You can export any slide to create a raster graphics version of it (GIF, JPG, EPS, TIF, etc.). The TIF and EPS formats are especially useful if you need to make professional-quality graphics.

  1. Move to Drawing view.

  2. Move to the slide to export.

  3. Choose File > Export.

  4. Enter a name and choose the file you want.

  5. Click Save.

  6. Enter options, if prompted to. (For more information, see Exporting to Other Raster Formats on page 843.)
