Value Highlighting

Use Calc's value highlighting feature to visually set off different types of elements in a spreadsheet. Value highlighting assigns the following colors to different spreadsheet elements, which override all font colors while value highlighting is activated:

• Black Text displays in black.

• Blue Numbers entered manually and dates display in blue.

• Green Calculated amounts, formulas, and other information display in green.

To use value highlighting, choose View > Value Highlighting. To use globally for all spreadsheet documents, choose Tools > Options > Spreadsheet > Contents, mark the Value Highlighting checkbox, and click OK.

Value highlighting is a great troubleshooting tool to help you better see different spreadsheet elements.
