Chapter 13. Project- Related Roles

The roles described here are typically connected to implementation of a project and are related to one project at a time. The focus is on their relation to configuration managementknowledge of the roles' subject areas are not included.

As an illustration, performance of configuration management by a designer requires a certain sense of order, although this may not be significant for the person's ability to be a good designer. Not all roles are necessarily filled in any given project, or the level of activity for a role may be small. The amount of work depends on the degree of formalism. These sections contain a certain amount of repetition. It's not the intention that everybody should read through all of them from one end to the other. Choose the sections relevant to you and read only those.
