The Navigational feature allows you to drill down data based on individual characteristics. For example, you can analyze revenues by material and associated navigational attributes such as Material Type. On the other hand, slicing and dicing data allows you to switch dimensions on the fly; you can also set filters or ranges to move data in available dimensions to understand data behavior. For example, if you want to analyze revenues by material and customer, switch Customer dimension with Material and then restrict results by a Distribution channel.
