In this chapter, you learned how to load data via flat files. You can load both the master and transaction data in SAP BW. The overall process is very similar to loading data from SAP R/3. The only major difference is that you need to define metadata for the transaction and new master data InfoObjects. Then you need to provide file names that contain data for master and transaction data files needed to schedule data loads.

In the next chapter, you learn how Business Explorer works and how to analyze data from SAP BW.
