In this chapter, you learned the basics of data flow in SAP BW. Most of the data flow discussed was limited to business content. Now you also should have a good understanding of metadata management in SAP BW and in SAP R/3. You also learned what constitutes SAP BW business content and how to activate individual objects to build an information delivery environment. The next chapters describe in detail the necessary steps to prepare SAP R/3 for data loads and how data is extracted from SAP R/3 and moved in SAP BW.
