Working in the Grid Pane

Access provides keyboard shortcuts for moving quickly about the grid pane, toggling between Edit mode and Navigation mode, and toggling between Insert mode and Overstrike mode when you re editing in a cell .

Shortcuts for Working in the Grid Pane

Toggle between Edit mode and Navigation mode

Toggle between Insert mode and Overstrike mode

[Insert]

This shortcut works only when you re editing in a cell.

Note

When you re not editing a cell, press [Insert] to insert a row between existing rows.

Select the last cell in the active column

[Ctrl] - [ “ ]

Select the first cell in the active column

[Ctrl] - [ ‘ ]

Select the top-left cell in the visible part of the grid

[Ctrl] - [Home]

Select the bottom-right cell in the visible part of the grid

[Ctrl] - [End]
