Navigating in Print Preview

Print Preview may seem a natural candidate for using the mouse, but you can navigate it faster and more effectively by using keyboard shortcuts ”if you know the right ones.

Shortcuts for Navigating in Print Preview

Select the page number box

[F5]

Type the page number and press [Enter] to display the page.

Display the next page

[PageDown] , [ “ ]

These shortcuts work only when the Fit to Window option is turned on.

Display the previous page

[PageUp] , [ ‘ ]

These shortcuts work only when the Fit to Window option is turned on.

Scroll in small increments

[ ] , [ ’ ] , [ ‘ ] , [ “ ]

Press the appropriate arrow key for the direction you want to scroll in. These shortcuts work only if Fit to Window is not turned on.

Scroll to the bottom of the page

[Ctrl] - [ “ ]

Scroll to the top of the page

[Ctrl] - [ ‘ ]

Scroll to the right side of the page

[Ctrl] - [ ’ ] , [End]

Scroll to the left side of the page

[Ctrl] - [ ] , [Home]

Scroll to the upper-left corner of the page

[Ctrl] - [Home]

Scroll to the lower-right corner of the page
