Summary


This chapter has provided an initial look at artificial intelligence as applied to a game engine. Far more powerful and flexible systems are available and in use in most commercial game engines. This chapter provides the first step toward working with game artificial intelligence. The next step beyond what is covered in this book is the use of a language such as Python to control the opponent s logic. Systems such as these allow more complicated logic structures than we can form with our simple logical expression.
