Summary


This chapter has looked at lighting and fog. These are two operations that modify the colors of the rendered pixels. Both provide means for improving the realism of the rendered scene. One thing to remember is that both lighting and fog are highly subjective . Achieving the effect that you are looking for is often just a case of adjusting the parameters for either of these items.
