First Network Drive

• Range: AZ (only allow non-local drives )

• Description: This parameter sets the first network drive to the drive letter of your choice when you connect to a NetWare server. The first network drive applies to any user logging in to the network using the workstation where it is set.

• Description: Legacy setting used to specify the server that eDirectory should authenticate the user to when the Novell client is started. The corresponding Default Location Profile value takes precedence over this setting.

Preferred Tree

• Description: Legacy setting used to specify the Directory tree that eDirectory should authenticate the user to when the Novell client is started. The corresponding Default Location Profile value takes precedence over this setting.

Client Version

• Default Value: 3.40.0.0 (Windows 9x) or 4.90 (Windows 2000/XP)

• Range: 09999

• Description: Shows the version information for the Novell client (derived from both external and internal versioning).

Support Pack

• Description: Displays both the support pack version information as well as providing a button-activated list of the patched files.

Name Context

• Range: N/A

• Description: Legacy setting used to specify the eDirectory context that should be used when eDirectory attempts to authenticate a user during the initial Novell client startup. The corresponding Default Location Profile value takes precedence over this setting.

Tree/Name Context Pairs

• Client Version: 2000/XP v4.3 and higher

• Description: List of the most recently used context for the eDirectory tree(s) into which the Novell client has logged in. There is a single entry for each tree. Each tree/context pair will have a string value with the name of the tree and its associated Name context.
