Selector Speed Tip II

If you want to animate the a and e in the word adobe, you don't need to add two Selectors. Instead, highlight the letters dob, then add an Animator Group. AE will automatically isolate dob in Range Selector 1. Twirl open Range Selector 1 in the Timeline, then Twirl open Advanced. From the Mode property dropdown menu, select the Subtract option.
