• Add users using the Add User WizardAlthough it may seem obvious to some, using the Add User Wizard in SBS is more than just a strong recommendation. A number of customizations are applied to a user object with the wizard that would take too long to perform by hand.

• Administrator access and the Connect Computer WizardThe Connect Computer Wizard adds the user to the Local Administrators group on the workstation as part of the setup process. If you choose to remove the user from the Local Administrators group after the initial configuration of the workstation, be aware that some of the SBS user and computer management processes will fail, such as adding new applications through the SBS logon script.

• Adding a domain controller to the SBS networkUse dcpromo instead of the Set Up Server Computers Wizard to join a new domain controller to the SBS network.
