34 Create a Navigation Link

35 Create a Menu Action Link

36 Create a Custom Button

When making changes to a PDF document, you might also need to change the links within the document. A link to a particular page view might now be pointing to an incorrect page, or you might decide to change the action completely.

1.
Select a Link

Click the Link Tool button the Advanced Editing toolbar to display all the available links in your document. Double-click the link you want to change. This opens the Link Properties dialog box.

2.
Change the Appearance

Click the Appearance tab to change the appearance of your link, such as making it visible or invisible. You can also change the Highlight Style to None, Invert, Outside , or Inset . You can also change the thickness of a line, its line style, and its color .

3.
Change the Action

In the Link Properties dialog box, click the Actions tab. Select the action in the Actions section; then click the Delete button. This removes the current action associated with the link so you can add a new action. Select a new action from the drop-down box located in the Add an Action section.

NOTE

Editing a button is just as easy as editing a link. Simply select the Button tool instead of the Link tool; double-click the button; and change the settings in the General, Appearance, Options , and Actions tabs.
