In addition to the built-in lessons, the Flash authoring tool comes with a set of tutorials that will dig deeper into Flash and give you even more of a foundation upon which we can build. Some of the tutorials cover subjects that are of less importance to a video game developer, but they are still common operations in Flash. Use these tutorials to supplement the material in Chapter 1. It would be a good idea to go to the tutorials and do a few right now, just to start the habit.
