Chapter 5

The first four chapters of the book have dealt with fairly abstract planning. In this chapter, we get down to the matter of actually installing the operating system on a server—but first, yes!—more planning. Planning your installation might not reduce the total time it takes to bring your server online by much, but it will reduce the number of procedures that you have to do, redo, and then do again.
