The Windows Volume Control

The most common adjustment you may want to make on audio playback or recording is the volume level. You can open the Volume Control window shown in Figure 13.11 from the Start menu (Start image from book Programs image from book Accessories image from book Entertainment). The Options image from book Properties command opens a window where you can add additional volume sliders to the Volume Control window for individual sources and destinations, such as a microphone or a CD player.
