In this chapter, we took the first step toward creating Outlook applications. The forms environment in Outlook is powerful but will probably meet only some of your needs. In some situations, you might want to extend forms with code that automates Outlook or other applications from your forms. In the next chapter, you will learn about the Outlook object model and how to leverage this technology in your applications.
