The special, new, or additional costs required use the Personal Software Process SM to produce 10,000 lines of code are $105,600. This is obtained by using only the training cost of $105,600.

The special, new, or additional costs required use the Team Software Process SM to produce 10,000 lines of code are $148,400. This is obtained by using only the training cost of $148,400.

The special, new, or additional costs required to use the Software Capability Maturity Model to produce 10,000 lines are $311,433. This is obtained by adding the process, product, preparation, assessment, and inspection costs. The costs are $56,100, $117,600, $36,800, $30,100, and $70,833, respectively.
