In this appendix, you were introduced to a collection of VS .NET debugging
tools and techniques. You also learned how to debug a Windows Service. The tech nique of attaching a debug session to a running process (be it a Windows Service or Windows application) is certainly a desirable feather in your cap. This demon stration of this technique provided a convenient opportunity for you to discover the simplicity of using VS .NET to create a Windows Service.
The remaining portion of the appendix focused on Application Center Test (ACT) product (not to be confused with Microsoft s server product called Appli cation Center). You learned how to use ACT both inside and outside VS .NET.
