Manually Placing the Icon on the Desktop

1. Compile and run this project in the IDE (to make sure that all is well), Save All , then exit the IDE.

2. Move to My Documents in the PC, then to Visual Studio 2005\Projects\DemosSourceCode\ProjectIcon\bin\debug, and highlight the ProjectIcon.exe file.

3. Right-click on this file and click on Create Shortcut . The operating system will create a shortcut to ProjectIcon.exe in the same directory as the executable. Drag and drop this shortcut entry onto the desktop. The icon that is displayed is the one you created earlier in the Icon Editor.
