The province has 22 state-level ports, the second highest number in China after Guangdong. The port of Harbin is the province 's largest inland transport centre on the

Songhua River. The province has a well-developed transport network centred around Harbin There are frequent train services to the ports of Dalian in Liaoning and Vladivostok in Russia. The key rail link is the Jingha (Beijing-Harbin) railway line. Harbin Taipin Airport has regular flights to other key domestic destinations as well as places like Hong Kong and Russia. Other major airports are located at Jiamusi, Mudanjiang, Heihe, and Qiqihar.
