Summary

This chapter provided an overview of the preferences and configuration controls available from and through the command line. Because so much of the system is currently undocumented by Apple, we can't guess whether these items will remain in these places or continue to contain the same options. However, we have a pretty good guess that the general form and style of how the configuration is controlled will remain the same. With the tools provided here, you should be able to cope with any changes that might come your way.
