Copying Documents


Use the document copy feature to create a document identical to one in the library and make changes without altering the original.

When you copy a document, you need to specify the new document's properties, including which library it should be stored in. You can manually specify the properties, or you can use the properties of the source document.

To copy a document, follow these steps:

1.

Highlight one or more document references in your mailbox.

2.

Select Actions, Copy Document. The Copy Document dialog box appears, as shown in Figure 9.8.

3.

Choose the library where the document will be copied to from the drop-down list.

4.

Specify the method for creating the properties for the new document(s).

5.

Click OK.

New document references appear in your mailbox.
