PUSH

This operator, proposed in Agrawal, Gupta, & Sarawagi (1997), is used to convert dimensions into elements that can then be manipulated using the combining function f_elem. This its a typical operator useful in OLAP application in order to allow dimensions and measures to be treated uniformly. An example (taken from Agrawal, Gupta, & Sarawagi, 1997) is shown in Figure 19.
