If you are like me, you need a list just to remember what to do to get ready for work in the morning. Well, perhaps that's a bit of an exaggeration. Regardless, there is no denying that keeping track of everything you need to do on a Web site is rather daunting.
You could compose a list of things to do on paper, or you could use the Tasks View to manage what you need to accomplish on your site.
You can make tasks that are not directly connected to any particular file. These are known as unassociated tasks, and they can be made in the Tasks View.
If you need to do something related to a certain file, then it's a good idea to create an associated task. Follow these steps while you are within the Page View for any page.
If you start going down the last of tasks in the Tasks View, you can let the task open the files you need to get started working.
After you finish what you need to do, you can mark the task complete and move on to something else.
If you need to clean up the Tasks View, you can quickly start trimming away completed or invalid tasks from the list.
