Links are one of the most important parts of your site's content, and link maintenance will be a big part of your Web site experience.
Here's a truism on the Internet: Web pages change. Most commercial Web analysts say that you should change your Web site's look every six months or so.
And sometimes when people make those changes, they move files around, which can break any hyperlinks pointing to those files.
Fortunately, you can edit hyperlinks in FrontPage without a lot of rigmarole.
Hyperlinks, in case you hadn't noticed, change their colors when the mouse pointer hovers over them, when they are being clicked, and after they are clicked. This color-change feature further highlights hyperlinks, more than the underlined text.
If it suits you, you can alter the color scheme of all of the hyperlinks on a particular page.
NOTE
If your page has a theme applied, you will need to customize the theme to change the link colors. See Chapter 17, "Customize FrontPage 2003," for more details.
