Making a new Site, whether it's one page or many, usually involves the use of a single page or full Site template in FrontPage. There are several such templates within FrontPage, and many more available for download from Microsoft.com. I will examine the use of these templates in Chapter 5, "Create Web Pages Automatically." For now, let's review the creation of a Personal Sitea site that will feature an important subject: you.
The Personal Site will create a central home page with linked pages that contain placeholders for text and graphics. It is an ideal starting point for building your first site.
Individual Sites are maintained separately from each other to eliminate confusion. If you are working with more than one Site, you may need to switch between Sites. To do so, you must first close an open Site.
When you want to open a Site that you have already created, it's simply a process of identifying the Site on which to begin working.
