Dealing with Audio Phrases Less than 0.5 Seconds Long

The VS-1680 cannot play back sections of audio that are 0.5 seconds in length or shorter. If you take a phrase that is three seconds long and erase 2.5 seconds of it, you will be left with a 0.5 second phrase. That phrase cannot be played by your VS-1680.

While making any type of edits, track or phrase, try not to leave any isolated pieces of audio that are 0.5 seconds in length or shorter.

Do not confuse this with setting editing points. You can still choose editing points with a resolution of up to 1/3000 th of a second. It is also possible to erase or cut a portion of audio shorter than 0.5 seconds from a larger piece of audio.
