I sent contacts to friends who use Outlook and they didn't receive the contents of the contact in the message body. Why?
A1:
For Outlook's special items to arrive using Outlook's forms, you must send the message using RTF formatting. Although Outlook is usually smart enough to send messages using RTF, when they're sent to the Internet, messages are normally converted to HTML. If this causes problems, you'll have to force the message as RTF by clicking on the email address and setting the Internet Format option to Send Using Rich Text Format in the E-mail Properties dialog.
Q2:
We got some new computers in our office and they have Outlook 2003 installed. We use NetFolders to share our calendar but I can't find that option in Outlook 2003. Where is it?
A2:
NetFolders is not included in Outlook 2003. They are unstable and unreliable. If Exchange Server is not an option, use an IMAP server and InsightConnector to share your calendar and contacts. You'll be happier with it and have fewer problems.
