About the Authors

David Pogue is the weekly computer columnist for the New York Times, an Emmy-winning correspondent for CBS News Sunday Morning , and the creator of the Missing Manual series. He's the author or co-author of 38 books, including 17 in this series and six in the "For Dummies" line (including Macs, Magic, Opera , and Classical Music ). About the Creative Team

Joseph Schorr (co-author, first two editions), a former Macworld contributing editor, began collaborating with David Pogue in 1982on musical comedies at Yale. Years later, they co- authored six editions of Macworld Mac Secrets . Now that Joe is a product manager at Apple, he's technically not supposed to work on books like this. Still, many chapters of this book are based on his original prose .

Rose Cassano (cover illustration) has worked as an independent designer and illustrator for 20 years. Assignments have spanned everything from the nonprofit sector to corporate clientele.
