Loading the San Francisco Clips to the Timeline

The next clip, of San Francisco, has a sunny setting, with a shade tree towards the front of the clip, casting a shadow. As it turns out, the clip of the reporter is a bit dark, which is good since it will appear that the reporter is standing in the shade. If that wasn't the case, we'd have to adjust the Contrast or Brightness settings to darken the reporter clip a bit.

Off We Go to California

Drag the sanfranpaintedhouses.avi clip from the Media panel onto the Video 1 track on the My Project panel, directly to the right of (and touching) the fallfoliage.avi clip.

Tip

It's easier to work with clips that you want to "stick together" if you have the Snap function turned on. To turn on Snap, select it from either the My Project panel's More button or from the Timeline menu at the top of the screen.

Drag the SF_reporter.avi clip from the Media panel onto the Video 2 track on the My Project panel. Again, you want it directly to the right of (and touching) the clip that's already there, NE_reporter.avi.
