If you have applied several different font formats to a block of text and then decide you want to turn all of them off, you can, of course, select the text and then turn each one off individually. This method can be quite tedious , however, because you may have to use several dialog boxes, toolbar buttons , or keyboard shortcuts. A much faster method is to select the text and press the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Spacebar, which strips off all font formatting and returns the formatting to Word's default. |
