Chapter 33. Using Templates to Quickly Create a Web

As you get ready to create your first Web in FrontPage, the program may look as imposing as a line of Chinese mountains in need of a wall. Knowing where to start, and what to do, can be a daunting task when you've never used the software. FrontPage makes the task less daunting through the use of templates, built-in Webs that the software knows how to create by itself.

Templates enable you to develop a complete Web in a few minutes, then spend your efforts customizing that Web rather than creating it from scratch. Although they won't work with all Webs, templates are a huge timesaver when they are suitable for your projects. During this chapter, you'll create your first Web in a matter of minutes, an accomplishment made possible through the use of a template.
