Week 2. At a Glance
You're moving along quite nicely! In the past week, you added all types of data access capabilities to your tool belt, transforming you from a beginner to an advanced ASP.NET developer! You now know how to use all types of controls in your pages, collect information from users, set up your applications, interact with databases, read and write files, and handle the cache. That's quite a list of accomplishments in only 14 days.
You should feel comfortable now learning new ASP.NET techniques, and be able to look at any ASP.NET page and figure out most of what's going on. However, there are a few topics I haven't yet covered that are essential for rounding out your skills. These include advanced programming skills such as debugging and security, as well as ASP.NET topics such as Web services. You'll tackle all of these next week.
