Day 14. Using ASP.NET's Improved Caching Capabilities
That's Not ASP!
Classic ASP only allowed caching control on the client side with Response.Expires and Response.ExpiresAbsolute. ASP.NET, however, allows you to control how caching is performed on both the server and client side. This is one of ASP.NET's greatest improvements over classic ASP: You now have a robust caching mechanism that can be controlled easily (and programmatically) in a number of ways. Such robust caching capabilities can provide impressive performance gains.
