If it’s your intention to produce your content for delivery on CD- or DVD-ROM, Camtasia MenuMaker can let you quickly and easily create a front-end menu for it.
Here’s the easiest way of creating a menu with MenuMaker:
Create a new project using the wizard.
In the wizard, you’ll be able to select a template, add the files you wish to have accessible in your menu, and give the menu a title.
In the Main Menu Properties dialog, you’ll be able to alter the formatting of your menu as well as add additional links and content.
If you need to split up your navigation into smaller chunks, Camtasia MenuMaker lets you create submenus.
Be sure to test your menu to make sure everything’s in good working order.
After everything’s been tested, simply produce your project, and then burn those files to CD or DVD with any disc burning application.
Now that we’ve learned how to create CD-based navigation, we’ll be talking about a web-based solution for the same thing. It’s called Camtasia Theater, which is the subject of our next chapter.
