This book contains a multitude of screenshots (more than 350 of them, actually) to illustrate the various points brought up in this text. All screenshots were done using SnagIt by TechSmith Corporation (yes, the same company that makes Camtasia Studio). It’s a marvelous tool for capturing, editing, and sharing still images of your screen, and a trial version of SnagIt 8.2 is available on the companion CD-ROM. This software is not crippled in any way, and can be used without restriction for a 30-day period, so please feel free to install and try it out.
Note | Most screenshots are taken of the application at its default settings. If you’re opening Camtasia Studio for the very first time, the screenshots should mirror what you see on your screen. But if you’ve had Camtasia Studio for a while and have adjusted its many toolbars and settings, please note that your view of Camtasia Studio and its accompanying applications may look somewhat different. |
