It would be impossible to count the effects and effect variations offered by the potent combination of Premiere Pro and After Effects, and it would be beyond the scope or the purpose of this book to try to cover them all. This chapter provides a sampling of some of the coolest. It starts with a look at overlay effects, including layering, split-screen, picture-in-picture, and chroma key, and then takes a look at creating and applying masks in Premiere Pro. The final two techniques use After Effects to track motion in a video file and then apply the tracking data to animate a layer in the composition. |
