Practice writing

With a little practice, you'll quickly get the hang of writing letters, numbers, and punctuation.

Quick help

Your handheld includes an on-board help system for Graffiti 2 writing. With your stylus, make a line from the bottom of the writing area all the way to the top of the screen. Find the stroke you need, or tap the bottom-right arrows for punctuation and more.

Spaces and other characters

Make a space by drawing a short horizontal line from left to right. Erase by drawing the same line backwards. For a line return, make a slash from the upper-right to lower-left corner.

Improve your accuracy

Watch your stylus as you write to make fewer errors.

Quick reference

Apply the Graffiti 2 stickers that came with your handheld to the inside of your handheld's cover.

Capitals and special characters

Write lowercase letters on the left side of the writing area and numbers on the right side. To write capital letters, use the middle of the writing area.

Create special characters by drawing an upward stroke, the special character, and another upward stroke.
