Chris Miller is a database administrator on the Internet Operations team at GeoAccess in Lenexa, Kansas. He maintains several high-performance SQL Server boxes, tunes queries, manages an OLAP-based data repository, and generally fixes broken things ”which is the nature of the job of a system administrator. He's been doing this for three years now and is having a blast working with some really smart people who are doing amazing things. Previously he worked as a team leader at a major wireless telecommunications company, although he doesn't thrive in a large corporate environment and dislikes managing people. Before that, he was a consultant and trainer, specializing in SQL Server, Exchange, and Microsoft Mail. Chris and his wife Jennifer live in Kansas City with their two dogs, Dogbert and Peekaboo.

Edward Tetz graduated in 1990 from Saint Lawrence College in Cornwall, Ontario, with a diploma in Business Administration. He spent a short time in computer sales, which turned into a computer support position. He has spent most of his time since then performing system and LAN support for small and large organizations. In 1994, he added training to his repertoire . He currently holds the following certifications: MCT, MCSE, MCDBA, CTT, A+, and CIW CI. He has experience with Apple Macintosh, IBM OS/2, Linux, and all Microsoft operating systems. He is an information technology coordinator and an instructor for PBSC and delivers training on many Microsoft products.
