Summary

This hour took a slight break from the tedium of hacking out HTML and CSS code by stepping through the creation of a hosted blog. Unlike a blog that you create manually with your own HTML and CSS code, a hosted blog offers publication and automation benefits that are hard to argue. For this reason, I learn toward using a blog service or special blog software as opposed to creating and managing your own blog from scratch. This lesson introduced Blogger as an example of a free blog service that is both easy and fun to use. There are certainly other blog services out there, some of which I mentioned in the lesson. Feel free to explore all of your options before diving into your own blog. The main thing to keep in mind as you enter the blogosphere is that you have a golden opportunity to share your viewpoint with the worldmake it count!
