INTRODUCTION

In addition to the Start menu, you can also start programs from shortcut icons. Some programs automatically create shortcut icons, placing them on the desktop. You can also add shortcut icons to programs yourself. This task covers how to start a program from a shortcut icon.

TIP

Create Shortcut Icons

You can create shortcut icons to any of your installed programs. To do so, see Part 11, "Setting Up Programs."
