Repeat the Last Filter Used

Mac: Cmd + F Win: Ctrl + F This shortcut applies the last filter you used again; it does not reopen the dialog box of the filter you used last so that you can change the settings before applying again. As you might guess, a separate shortcut is available for that as well. Also note that this shortcut works only during the current Photoshop session ”once you quit the application, Photoshop won't recall the last filter you used when you relaunch. |

Fade the Last Filter Used

Mac: Cmd + Shift + F Win: Ctrl + Shift + F This is a great shortcut to knock back the intensity of a particular effect by playing with the opacity or the blend mode of the applied filter effect. In Photoshop 6 and 7, the Fade command can also apply to brush strokes and other edits. (In these versions, you'll find the menu item under the Edit menu.) |
