SummaryThis chapter has considered some of the issues involved in using a piece of hardware with a Jini service. This was illustrated with LEGO MINDSTORMS, where a large part of the base work of native code libraries and encapsulation in Java classes has already been done. Even then, there is much work involved in making it a suitable Jini service, and these have been discussed. This work is not yet complete, and more remains to be done for LEGO MINDSTORMS. |
