It goes without saying that no book can contain every fact that needs to be known, every tip that needs to be tried, and every note that needs to be noted, especially about something as vast as SQL Server. There is a ton of information about SQL Server that cannot fit into a book of any size, even if it is called the “Complete Reference.” I would appreciate your advice and criticisms. I can be reached at jeffrey.shapiro@modelise.com, and you can pick up where many of these chapters leave off at the Internet Web page I have dedicated to this book, at www.modelise.com/compref.
