reverse shell
A tunnel created with a remote shell program. After the tunnel is created, you can launch commands back from the tunnel destination machine to the tunnel originating machine with the credentials of the tunnel creator.

A tool or set of tools that an attacker uses after successfully compromising a computer system. A rootkit can help the attacker maintain his access to the system and use it for malicious purposes.
