Launch Final Cut Pro, and open the Lesson 15 Project file.

Close any other open projects.

If you haven't removed the multiclip buttons from the preceding lesson, Ctrl-click in the button bar of each window and choose Remove > All.

In the Timeline, click each sequence tab. Play the Adding Text - Finished sequence to see what you will create in this lesson.
TIP
If the effects in this sequence don't play in real time, press Option-R to render them. Make sure the render bar color or type is selected in the Sequence menu before rendering.
There are a variety of clips in this sequence that display text some share style attributes such as color or font size and type, others don't. You generally limit these options when working with text and graphics in order to create a uniform look. However, the purpose of this lesson is to introduce you to the different text options.
NOTE
If you did not change the Easy Setup at the end of the preceding lesson, choose Final Cut Pro > Easy Setup, and change it to DV-NTSC so all new sequences will match the media in this lesson.
